Sylvia and Joyce were born in The Netherlands and found each other in 2020 during COVID.

Both enjoying a good hike, they started backpacking together. It started small with weekend trips. As their wedding gifts, they asked for backpacking gear and this made their first long backpack trip possible in January 2023: the Walk of Wisdom.
